the new essentials.

8 months, 3 teeth, and many laughs & smiles.  Days where I'm lucky to curl my hair or find a few minutes to find the powder or blush. I think it is safe to say that my essentials have changed slightly over these last few months. Yes, my Chanel mascara is still up there and Tata Harper's Replenishing Nutrient Complex is a must before bed. But now my other essentials aren't for me, but are equally as important.

I quickly learned babies go through many phases of "dirty"...the newborn who can only have the sponge bath every few days... the bottle feeding, milk mustache baby...and now the I prefer sweet potatoes and bananas when they are in my hair and not my mouth 8 month old. That being said, I found the new favorite essentials to keep my sweet babe clean - bath or no bath, these Noodle & Boo and The Honest Company products are must-haves for our little boy.

We've used the Noodle & Boo Cleansing Cloths from day one. Jack had very sensitive skin as a newborn so I was careful with what we used on his face and body. These cleansing cloths have been the saving grace when it comes to staying clean day and night.

I'm a huge fan of lotion. The kind of fan that has lotion by every sink of our house. But is there anything better than silky, smooth skin?! As I mentioned above, Jack has very sensitive skin, which includes dry patches on his arm and legs. The Noodle & Boo Super Soft Lotion has become a daily essential to keep his skin silky baby smooth and it smells oh, so, good. No complaints from this lotion obsessed mom.

For those days we do fit in bath time, Honest Company Shampoo & Body Wash is our favorite. A natural, organic wash that makes bath time fun and safe for baby. And I mean it when I say it makes bath time fun...those bubbles...well, those bubbles sure are fun to catch while splish-splashing around in the tub.

What are your essentials?
