sugar paper: giveaway.

I am a firm believer that one possibly can't have too many cards or stationary.  I have a box in my closet full of cards for all occasions. Not to mention a drawer full of more stationary and cards that I have received throughout the years. I realize that I could spend have spent quite a bit of time looking at cards in stores often coming away with more than just the one birthday card I needed.  I feel like in today's world we get so caught up with all of our gadgets that it can be refreshing to take a step away from everything and sit down to write a handwritten note to someone special. I don't know about you, but I absolutely love when I get a card in the mail!

One of the most adorable stationary and letterpress shops is Sugar Paper in LA. With a shop full of calendars, coasters, art prints, wrapping paper and so much more, they take you to paper heaven when browsing their online shop. Sugar Paper's cards are elegant, fun and simple with sayings that are short and sweet. I gave my Mom the Sugar Paper recipe binder for Christmas and as someone who is always printing out recipes it truly was perfect.

  1. I like you both on Facebook now (well I've always liked Simply Significant :-) And the sweetest card I got was from my newborn son on my first Mother'sDay. Which was really from my Mom. But it was absolutely the SWEETEST, & of course, made me cry.

  2. Liked both of you! I must say I love the You're My Lobster card and all the notepads :) Sweetest note I ever received was from my husband, back when he was my boyfriend. We did long distance all throughout college and sent a love letter in a care package to me!

  3. Liked you both! The one note that is coming to mind was from my boss. He heard from various employees that I had given up my Holiday Door Prize (an XBox360) to a single father that worked for the company. I knew he was struggling with his finances despite working massive amounts of overtime, but had a 15 year old son at home who had recently dealt with the theft of his dirt bike. My boss felt that the gesture was above and beyond what he would expect from his employees and reimbursed me the value of the console in cash. It was completely unexpected, and meant the world to me to be recognized by someone so high up in the company.

  4. I liked you both on Facebook! What adorable stationary!! The sweetest note I ever received was actually from my boyfriend. We had broken up and it was a love letter trying to get me back. It worked.

  5. Liked you both!
The sweetest note I ever received was from my husband. On my birthday he wrote me a note that said I was the best gift that he ever received.
    That guy is a keeper.

  6. Like both.

Sweetest notes have come from my husband. He wrote down his proposal to me and that will always be my sweetest note.

  7. Liked and liked :)

My first Christmas card from my boyfriend is very special to me. The message was simple, but forward looking, which was new to me. I'd always received sentiments from people reflecting on the past, and that's what I had always written myself. When I write now, I make reference to the future and what I'm looking forward to - like how much I'm looking forward to winning these ridiculously cute notecards :)

    1. Congratulations Amy! You are the lucky winner!! Please email me so I can get your prize to you :) Happy Friday!!

  8. This is a hard question! Any note from my boyfriend that was left on my desk when we worked together is the sweetest to me. By the way, from an avid fan of the show Friends, I love the "You're my lobster" card!
