Summer time is reading time {guest blog post}

Summer is right around the corner! As you prepare to find the perfect bathing suit and plan the perfect summer getaway, think about the most important accessory of all: your summer reads. Here are a few of the books on my summer reading list:

Where We Belong by Emily Giffin
I have been waiting forever to dive into Emily Giffin’s 5th novel: Where We Belong. True to her other 4 books, I am sure that this novel will introduce different point of views that make readers question what they thought was right. This book is now available for pre-order and will be released in stores July 24th.  Dear Emily – book tour stop in Tampa? Please.

Paris, I Love You but You’re Bringing Me Down by Rosecrans Baldwin
Unfortunately I don’t see Paris on my vacation itinerary this year.  The closest I will get to the French capital is through stories of those who have “been there, done that” in the city of lights. This sounds like an interesting tale from a fellow Francophile.

These Girls by Sarah Pekkanen
Sarah Pekkanen’s novels The Opposite of Me and Skipping a Beat were great. I can’t wait to jump into These Girls, the story of 3 women living in New York City. Sounds cliché, but Sarah introduces in depth characters and complicated situations that can develop within human relationships.

Divergent by Veronica Roth
Divergent comes highly recommended to me by several friends. This young adult novel seems to be the next Hunger Games. It’s not my usual type of book, but I am looking forward to giving it a try. So many positive reviews can’t be wrong.

 What is on your must read list this Summer?
