super bowl sunday.

In preparation of Super Bowl Sunday I have been searching all over the internet trying to find 'healthier' versions of my favorite SB snacks. You typically wouldn't associate healthy eating with this Sunday, but show me the rule book saying you can't eat healthier versions of the classics and still satisfy your Super Bowl Sunday cravings.

Here are a few recipes I found...

Hummus and Carrots...always a hit in our house

Homemade Salsa...recipe sent with love from my sweet mother
          3 medium tomatoes
          2 cloves of garlic (I usually use 4-6) {we are a family of garlic lovers}
          1 small onion, chopped
          1 jalapeno (use seeds for more spice, don't use the seeds if you prefer mild salsa)
          1 T fresh cilantro
          2 t fresh lime juice

Of course, we can't forget about dessert!
I am not sure of how healthy these cookies are, but they look absolutely wonderful!
